Year 9 Students Attend STEM Event

On Thursday, 8 ATL1 year 9 students attended a STEM event at Kirklees College.  We met with some of the apprentices and toured the new Process Manufacturing Centre.  We also did a simulation of a production line to see what things affected profit, and participated in some outward-bound training.

Royds Hall students were as usual a credit to the school, and took the lead in the activities when put together with another school.

Anyone considering a STEM apprenticeship should look into what Kirklees College has to offer.  The staff were impressed with our students, and have said that they will put on future events for us if we like.   If you are interested, please see Dr Salter or Miss Travas.
