Diversathon

This week the Diversity Club has been taking part in a Diversathon, This is when we read books outside our reading comfort zone. We have selected books that are by authors from different countries, different religions or views, and LGBT+ writers too. On Thursday we all brought in our books and talked about what they were like.

Josh read Simon vs the Homosapien's Agenda which he said was 'Best book in the world. It made me cry near the end.'  Niamh read Will Grayson, Will Grayson and she thought it was a good representation of the journey of an LGBT character, struggling at first but ending up happy in themselves. She said "It was encouraging and uplifting.
