Year 11 College Key Dates/Timelines
| October 202 to December 2025 | You will begin applying for your post-16 options. You will be given time to do this in school. |

Sixth form and college courses for 2025-2026 available to apply for on the College websites. | October 2025 to December 2025 | Complete your college application forms ensuring you have applied to at least two post-16 providers. |
| December 2025 |
College Deadline days (this is the last date you will be able to apply to College - please note they will not allow any late applications) Greenhead College – Applications will close on Monday 1st December 2025. Huddersfield New College - Applications will close on 12th December 2025. |
| January/February 2026 | Students will have the opportunity to have a Mock interview with an external employer and will be given feedback on this interview. |
| 12th February 2026 | Greenhead College Interviews – Interviews in school taking place in the ILC. |
| March/April 2026 | Kirklees College deadline day for applying. |
| March 2026 | New College interviews TBC – this will be at the College |
| April to July 2026 | Students accept offers for different courses. We advise to accept all offers from all colleges and decide on exam results day in August. |
