Royds Hall Celebrates Outstanding GCSE Results
Congratulations to the Class of 2024 who collected their GCSE results today! Their incredible determination and commitment have led to outstanding achievements.
Special mention to Hamdan Saeed who achieved five grade 9s, with a further four high grades. Excellent results for Imaan Hussain achieving four grade 9s in Biology, Chemistry, French and History and a further five high grades, Maryam Idrees achieving two Grade 9s in English Literature and Sociology and a further seven high grades, Neve Westwood for achieving five high grades including a Grade 9 in English Literature. Rawasi Hamid also achieved 8 high grades including a Grade 9 in English Literature!
We are also delighted with the amazing effort and progress from Amelia Tuczapska, Haani Hussain, Ruby Gruszka, Lano Saeed and Samar Kamuka and Will North. Well done for demonstrating that effort and hard work pay off.
Miss Devane, the Associate Headteacher of the academy, expressed her pride in the students' dedication to their studies. She noted that they have grown in confidence as they progressed academically, socially, and in their journey to becoming responsible and well-rounded young adults. Their achievements are remarkable, inspiring, and highlight the exceptional talents of this group.
Miss Devane also extended her gratitude to the teachers and support staff, who have worked tirelessly to ensure that students are well-prepared for the next steps in their educational or career paths.
She wished all the students the very best for the future, encouraging them to use their skills, qualities, and achievements to lead happy and successful lives.
