We are delighted that the Class of 2022 and staff are celebrating outstanding results! Students have shown what can be achieved despite difficult times during the last couple of years.

Each student should be extremely proud of themselves:

74% have achieved a ‘Pass’ (grade 4 – 9) in English

63% have achieved a ‘Pass’ (grade 4 – 9) in Mathematics

59% have achieved a grade 4 or above in English and Mathematics.

All results have increased significantly since examinations in 2019.

We are proud to give a very special mention to Subhan Saeed who has achieved a staggering 10 grade 9’s. Outstanding results have also been achieved by Aaron Crosbie with 6 grade 9’s, 3 grade 8’s and one grade 7 and Laiba Hussain securing 3 grade 9’s and 6 grade 8’s. We are also delighted with the amazing effort and progress from Roshan Jan, Millie Blythe, Sara Javid, Hasti Hashemi, Lingaani Dumani and Kyron Teal. Students have displayed resilience and focus which has resulted in such high achievements.

Mrs Carr, the Academy’s Headteacher said: “Once again, we are immensely proud of the dedication and commitment students have applied to their studies, especially after such a challenging couple of years. They have shown resilience and outstanding work ethic which has allowed them to achieve their personal best. What they have achieved is exceptional, inspiring and showcases what a talented group of young people they are.

I would like to thank teachers and support staff for their commitment and tireless work to help overcome the additional challenges Covid presented, ensuring students are able to progress onto the next steps of their journey. We are proud that students have gained the knowledge, skills and habits that can lead to a happy and successful life, both now and in the future.”
