  • Congratulations to the Class of 2025!

    Published 21/08/25

We are exceptionally proud of the Class of 2025 who collected their GCSE results today! Their incredible determination and commitment have led to outstanding achievements.

Special mention to Sophia Roberts who achieved nine grade 9s and a grade 8 and Raqeb Saeed who achieved eight grade 9s and a grade 8. Excellent results for Chloe Cummins achieving two grade 9s in Science and Art and a further seven high grades.  William Varley also achieved fantastic results across his subjects, including a grade 9 in English Literature. We are also delighted with the amazing effort and progress from Kian McArdle.  Well done for demonstrating that effort and hard work pay off.

Miss Devane, Associate Headteacher of the academy, shared her immense pride in the students’ dedication and hard work. Over 80% of pupils secured a grade 4 or above in English, and over 70% achieved the same in Mathematics. The students have consistently worked hard, enabling staff to nurture their knowledge and skills. She praised them as responsible, well-rounded young people whose remarkable achievements are truly inspiring and a wonderful reflection of their exceptional talents.

Miss Devane also extended her gratitude to the teachers and support staff, who have worked tirelessly to ensure that students are well-prepared for the next steps in their educational or career paths.

She wished all the students the very best for the future, encouraging them to use their skills, qualities, and achievements to lead happy and successful lives.
