Anne Frank Ambassadors

Added: December 8th, 2013

This week, a group of students are being trained as Anne Frank Ambassadors. We have the travelling Anne Frank exhibition in school for the next two weeks. The student ambassadors are learning how to act as guides to the exhibition. Over the last term, they have been reading the Diary of Anne Frank and then meeting to discuss the book. They also planned what they wanted to do when the exhibition arrived.

Today they are learning the background to the exhibition and how to help people understand the history surrounding Anne’s story as well as the relevance the diary has for today’s world.

The ambassadors will guide classes from our school around the exhibition as well as students from other local schools. We are also looking forward to welcoming the community into school on 12th December at 1:10pm to hear a speaker who escaped from Nazi-occupied Europe and visit the exhibition.
