Added: July 3rd, 2018

The school has embarked on an exciting journey to achieve Artsmark status over this last year and this has culminated in a creative festival ‘Letting Off STEAM’ which took place in the secondary school on Thursday 28th  June and both primary schools on Friday 29th June.

Thought-out the day students worked with professional artists, specialist teachers and former students in various different disciplines such as performance. music, drama, art, dance, creative writing, sports and D&T. As part of the day, we transformed the outside space in to a creative festival with live music stages, motivational signs, decorations, street arts, Art exhibition, bush craft and STEM activities where the students could use the outdoors as a creative platform for ‘Letting Off STEAM’. Some of the activities have a lasting legacy by creating permanent art installations that have enhanced the aesthetics of the school.
