Yorkshire Ambulance Service are in school today teaching students life saving CPR

 

Thursday 10th October – Wear something yellow to school

In support of World Mental Health Day, wear something yellow to school. This is to be worn in addition to normal school uniform, eg.yellow socks, a yellow headband, yellow scarf

Emergency kitchen repairs all complete

Emergency repairs have been completed, the school meal service will return to normal on Monday.  Thank you for your support on Friday.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Thursday 10th October is World Mental Health Day. Royds Hall will be joining in with this by saying #helloyellow and asking all staff and students to wear something yellow in support of mental health.

Food Industry Careers

Students have been taking part in careers sessions about the food industry this morning.

Duke of Edinburgh’s Award

This weekend, 25 of our Year 9 students completed their expedition for their Duke of Edinburgh’s Bronze Award. Thankfully, the weather was much better than their practice expedition! The students walked around 16 miles with heavy backpacks over the two days, and camped in temperatures down to 5°C Saturday night with very few complaints. They really were a credit to the school, so please congratulate the students involved.
