Royds Hall is a successful and over-subscribed school catering for 880 students aged 4 – 16 with a strong reputation in our local community and a growing national reputation for excellence.

We are proud to be a member of the Aspire Cooperative Learning Trust, along with our primary partner schools. Teacher Aid 2014

Following on from the huge success of Band Aid 30 in raising money and awareness of the Ebola Virus outbreak in West Africa. Staff from Royds Hall Community School, Golcar Junior, Infant and Nursery School school, and members of the Aspire Cooperative Learning Trust in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire decided to record their own version of the song.

Bradford Walk of Faith

On Saturday 6th December, a group of students from school went on the Bradford Walk of Faith. This was an amazing experience as it allowed us to visit six different places of worship and find out about the different religions.


Reception Class Student Work - 'The Story of 5'

We have created a new page within the Primary Phase section to showcase some of our reception class’ work. The latest section is 'The Story of 5'.


Cross Country Championships

On November 11, the Kirklees Schools Athletics Association's Cross Country Championships took place at Leeds Road Playing fields.

Pennine Sports Partnership Celebration Evening 2014

Pennine Sports Partnership hosted their first annual Celebration Evening at the Town Hall, Huddersfield. The evening was designed to showcase the outstanding sports performers and sports leaders from the 62 partner schools throughout Huddersfield.
