Royds Hall Rumble is a brand new programme designed, produced and presented by the talented students of Royds Hall Community School.


Year 11 Prom

The Huddersfield Rugby Union Football Club at Lockwood was the choice of our students again this year for the Year 11 leaver’s prom.


6 Million+

On behalf of our school Mr Woffenden and our newly elected head boy, Faheem Saeed joined other members of the local community, genocide survivors and some special guests to meet up and to talk about the progress of the 6 million plus project and other issues surrounding it.


Remembering The Rwandan Genocide - 20 Years On

On 16th June, a group of Humanities students took part in a workshop to remember the events which happened in Rwanda in 1994.


Year 11 Leaver's Assembly

Our Dining Room Extension and New Fitness Suite

At Easter our long awaited Dining Room extension build started. Due to the popularity of our school meals we felt that additional space was required in order to facilitate a better lunchtime experience for our students.


40 Years On

School friends got together to mark four decades since leaving Royds Hall Community School.
Former students flew in from as far away as Canada and New Zealand to have a look around their old stomping ground.


Royds Hall Community School takes part in Healthy Eating Week

Students and teachers at School are taking part in the British Nutrition Foundation’s (BNF) national Healthy Eating Week from 2 June 2014.
