Luck Lane Primary School Opening

On 20th September staff and pupils came to school dressed as pirates for a very special day. This event marked the opening of the new Luck Lane primary building at Royds Hall Community School.

Heritage Open Day 2016

On Saturday 10th September, students from our school had an amazing start to the year when they were tour guides around our historic building for Heritage Open Day.


New Luck Lane Primary Building Opens its Doors

On Tuesday 6th September, we welcomed 127 primary children and their families onto our brand new Luck Lane Primary site.

60 children started school for the first time in Reception in our 2 form entry primary school and they really enjoyed playing in their own outdoor area.

Business Industry Day

On Thursday 7th July Mr Schofield and Mrs Leonard took a group of students to the John Smiths stadium to take part in the Kirklees Business Industry Day. Along with other schools they took part in a range of workshops and a career fairs to look at different career pathways available to them when they leave school.


Sports News

The under 13 Cricket team have had a fantastic season which culminated in them being crowned the Huddersfield Schools Division 2 Champions.


Royds Hall Student's Meet David Cameron

Shakespeare Schools Festival invited a selective number of Royds Hall students to a day at Downing Street. The lucky students who are all committed to extra-curricular Arts activities within school were given a tour of Number 10!
