Royds Hall is a successful and over-subscribed school catering for 880 students aged 4 – 16 with a strong reputation in our local community and a growing national reputation for excellence.

We are proud to be a member of the Aspire Cooperative Learning Trust, along with our primary partner schools. We have excellent links with our Trust partners Huddersfield New College, Huddersfield Town Football Club, Huddersfield University, Holmfirth Fair Traders Association and The Centre for Science Education at Sheffield Hallam University.

To celebrate World Book Day Mrs Ackroyd organised a Staff v. Students Big Book Quiz in the Independent Learning Centre. Five student teams, covering all Years from 7-11, took on the mighty Staff All Stars to settle the age old argument, who’s better students or staff?
