Football Success!

Football is a sport in which we have had a lot of success this year. On the back of these successes some of our students have gone on to achieve individual success in representative squads and some have been fortunate enough to be picked up by professional clubs.


Luck Lane Fun Day

On Saturday 15th October, 2016 children, staff, governors and their families as well as members from the local community enjoyed a fun day to mark the opening of the newly built primary at Royds Hall Community School.


Visit by Author Jo Welch

Jo Welch, a children’s author, visited us on Tuesday 11th October to discuss writing, code cracking, Einstein and her first book, The Einstein Code.


Volume 11

The band 'Volume 11' starring Jack Wright of Royds Hall Community School, and his fellow band members Mike Roche, Zac Clayton, George Grady and Sam Butterfield , have been together since November 2015.


Luck Lane Primary School Opening

On 20th September staff and pupils came to school dressed as pirates for a very special day. This event marked the opening of the new Luck Lane primary building at Royds Hall Community School.


Aspiring Tots - Stay and Play!

Starting Wednesday 21st September 2016, 0-4 Year olds, every Wednesday 1pm – 2.30pm at Beech Primary School


Heritage Open Day 2016

On Saturday 10th September, students from our school had an amazing start to the year when they were tour guides around our historic building for Heritage Open Day.


New Luck Lane Primary Building Opens its Doors

On Tuesday 6th September, we welcomed 127 primary children and their families onto our brand new Luck Lane Primary site.

60 children started school for the first time in Reception in our 2 form entry primary school and they really enjoyed playing in their own outdoor area.
